This privacy policy provides information for website users of navigator-coaching.com and verdantedgeconsulting.com, Verdant Edge Limited clients and prospective clients on our practices regarding collection and use of personal information. Coaching and consultancy are professions where trust is of the utmost importance and we take the collection and protection of personal information very seriously.
Types of data we collect
There are two types of information we collect; information that can personally identify you and information that cannot personally identify you.
Information that can personally identify you includes your name, email address, phone number, address, city and country of residence. This information is collected when you complete inquiry forms on the website or contact us directly through email addresses provided on the website. Correspondence records (for example, email logs) are kept for prospective, current and previous clients who contact us via phone or email.
Information that can’t be used to identify you includes your IP address and website cookies. We refer to cookies in other sections of this policy.
Why we collect information
We collect personally identifiable information so that we can get in touch with you regarding our products and services, and to keep you up to date with news and information from Verdant Edge Ltd, including from Navigator Coaching.
If you have provided your contact information through the website, we will request your consent to (a) keep this information and (b) contact you using this information. If you do not provide consent, we will not keep your information or attempt to contact you in any way.
If you have provided information to us over the phone, email or other method (e.g. Teams chat or WhatsApp) as part of your interest using our services, we require this data in order to provide further information as necessary. We retain client information in order to provide coaching and consultancy services. If you choose to withhold or withdraw your information from us, we will not be able to provide you with these services.
Non-personally identifiable information is collected for the purposes of analysing website usage and for online advertising purposes (see “where we keep this information”, below, for more information).
Where we keep this information
Verdant Edge Limited is both the processor and controller of your data. Provided you have given consent for us to retain your personally identifiable data, we store this information on secure servers external to Verdant Edge Limited on protected Microsoft Cloud based storage (https://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/privacy/privacystatement). ‘End user’ information is stored securely by Squarespace as our website provider (https://www.squarespace.com/privacy).
Information that does not personally identify you – in this instance, cookies – is shared with and stored by Squarespace and third-party services including Google Analytics. Cookies help analyse how our website is used, and to provide reports on website activity. This information is stored on located across the USA, Europe and Asia.
How long we keep data for
Personal data will only be held for as long as there is a legitimate justification and data held will be periodically reviewed. Where there are specific retention periods, for example, in relation to contracts, these will be adhered to.
